**Job Description**:
The planner will plan, develop, and maintain the project schedule, oversee the master schedule, and then delve into contractor programs and lead the monitoring and management of this, develop corrective action plans and recovery plans, alongside the contractor and client. Issue the reporting with all required graphs.

**Mining project located in Lindero, Salta, Argentina. The mine is located 500Km from Salta Capital City, and 3,800 meters above sea level.**

**Working regime is under a 14/14 roster, working from Monday to Monday.**

Key Accountabilities:

- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules that support and align with study / project requirements, working in conjunction with senior planner, project managers and other project participants.
- Utilize the standardized processes, systems, and tools in developing project schedules.
- Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas.
- Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule.
- Conduct schedule analysis to determine alternative courses of action on slipped schedules.
- Support the development of monthly reports and look-ahead schedule as required.
- Participates and/or conduct project schedule review meetings and update schedules.
- Assist with administration of project risk register within the change management process.
- Assist with review and validation of schedules prepared by schedulers, contractors, and technical disciplines internal and external to the client organization.
- Work with engineering companies and contractors to monitor and report on progress for key deliverables.
- Maintain an accurate work program through close liaison with study and project managers.
- Business Development - Being aware and proactive to highlight potential opportunities to Associate Directors and Directors.
- Staff management
- Provide input during performance review process of graduate consultants.
- Knowledge management - Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database.

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:

- 7 years' Experience as a planner.
- Experience in Mining desirable.
- Development of detailed project plans from the Master Schedule.
- Manage key inputs including task lists, logic, milestones, resources, calendars from design phases through to construction.
- Monitor trends and analyze schedule impacts with the project team.
- Prepare estatus reports.
- Ensure standards, formats and timeframes are maintained.
- Re-base line the schedule when required.

Education/Qualifications:

- Engineering degree, with experience in construction projects.
- Experience in P6.
- PMP certification or Project management specialist or master’s in project management.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Good communication, written and oral.
- Problem solving and leadership skills.
