We solve the most complex and large-scale technological challenges in mobile advertising today. We process over 2,500,000 ad requests per second, which amounts to over 300TB of data per day, across three global data centers. We rely on real-time machine learning models (with billions of features) that give us predictions in less than 100ms.

**Data, and how it is used, plays a central role at Jampp and is at the heart of how we make product, business, operational, and financial decisions.**

The Data Science team tackles challenging problems across many technical disciplines, including time series forecasting, graph mining, algorithmic optimization on petabytes of data, and causal inference with missing data - to name a few.

We know our algorithms and predictions are top-notch but we need **your** help to take them to the next level.

As a** Senior Data Scientist** you will help us identify the questions we should be asking, and answer them. You will be responsible for tackling challenging problems at scale across many technical disciplines.

We believe in end-to-end ownership of projects. For any given project, we have one person on point. While you do not necessarily have to do all the work by yourself, it is your job to make sure all the work gets done. If you thrive wrapping your head around tough hard problems at scale and love creating new and innovative solutions, then this is a great role for you.

**_ Jampp is a remote-first company. For this position, it means that you can work remotely from any country compatible with Argentina's time zone_**.**

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
- Perform rigorous analysis to discover the important questions that Jampp should be asking, and then answer them with data
- Build models that support real-time events and internal stakeholder decisions across the business.
- Design, code and deploy highly scalable features (mostly in Python) from a massive machine learning system that powers our economic module Design and run your own experiments

**REQUIREMENTS**
- 3+ years of experience in data science type roles.
- Relevant experience in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Econometrics, or other quantitative field
- Demonstrate proficiency with our current Data Science Stack: Python (3.9) and Scientific/ML Python stack (numpy, scipy, pandas, mpl, seaborn)
- Strong expertise in quantitative research and applied statistical methods and advanced experiment design.
- Passion - you have used a data-driven approach to solve a problem you care about
- Highly detailed-oriented and exceptional organizational and follow-through skills is a must

**YOU MAY BE A GREAT FIT IF**
- You have experience in implementing large scale systems in one or more of the following areas: Machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining or artificial intelligence
- You have working experience implementing complex statistical analyses
- You have pride in working on projects to successful completion, involving a wide variety of technologies, systems and modeling techniques.
- You like working in a self-sufficient, autonomous manner, striving through ambiguity
- You have a sense of urgency and ownership over the product
