Corporate Tax Analyst

Our Finance Taxes team is responsible for all corporate taxes and tax compliance related matters. In this role, you will be the go-to person for any matters regarding corporate taxes and indirect taxes, focusing mainly on European markets. You will also play a significant role advising other internal teams on filing, planning, and estimating taxes.
Your challenges and objectives
- Gain a deep understanding of corporate taxes and indirect taxes, with a focus on the German and UK markets.
- Control that Avature’s accounting operations are updated according to different tax regulations.
- Keep finance teams informed by communicating tax and accounting related matters clearly.
- Interact with Avature’s internal teams to help ensure information is accurate and ready in time to meet tax deadlines.

Your day-to-day activities
- Preparation of tax returns (corporate tax and indirect taxes) with a focus on Europe.
- Research and interpret tax rulings to be compliant with several locations and new markets, international regulations, and legislation.
- Support external tax advisors by coordinating information requirements.
- Provide support to the Finance Accounting, Finance Banking, and Finance Audit teams.

About you
- Previous Experience in European corporate tax acquired in international tax firm or Fortune 500 corporations is required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Attentive to detail and a good team player.
- Analytical and decisive mindset.
- Advanced Excel knowledge.
