Sr Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our organization's digital assets. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong passion for security and the ability to effectively administer and monitor various security systems and environments. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and enthusiastic about cybersecurity, this position is perfect for you.

Your key responsibilities:

- Administer and manage security systems such as Azure AD, Google Workspace, DNS, and other relevant platforms. Ensure proper configuration, access controls, and overall security of these systems.
- Monitor the security of production environments and user endpoints. Utilize dashboards and alerts to proactively identify and respond to security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Follow established procedures to configure and patch systems to maintain a secure environment. Collaborate with the IT team to implement necessary security updates and ensure systems are up to date.
- Regularly update and maintain an accurate inventory of digital assets, including hardware, software, and data repositories. This includes documenting asset information, ownership, and security controls.
- Assist in ensuring that our organization's security posture aligns with relevant compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001. Stay updated with compliance requirements and assist in implementing necessary security measures.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of procedures and installations related to security systems and configurations.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, industry trends, and best practices.

About you:

- +6 years of proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or related positions.
- In-depth understanding of networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, OSI model, Load Balancing, HTTP/S, TLS, LDAP, DNS, RDP, SSH, etc.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policies, and Windows Server security.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, and wireless access points. Familiarity with Fortinet products.
- Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory and Active Directory fundamentals, including user management, security policies, and access controls.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Defender 365.
- Understanding of X.509 certificates and practical experience with public/private key encryption mechanisms (is a plus)
- Excellent written skills in technical English.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as SIEM or IDS.
