**About the Role**:
**Blended Role: "BDM - Customer" and "BDM - Program" in markets lacking critical mass for both roles.**

**What You'll Do**:

- Work on small to mid-size accounts with moderate complexity under supervision.
- Grow profitable market share by executing Business Unit strategy aligned with the plan.
- Take solution and service offerings to key customers, including TaaS.
- Drive sales from agreed vendor portfolio, including new vendor identification and on-boarding.
- Drive sales of specific vendors/projects requiring specialized knowledge.
- Enable sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market share.
- Successfully negotiate and win key tenders and large deals.
- Build positive relationships with vendors and stakeholders, positioning Tech Data as the "Trusted Advisor."
- Increase customer loyalty and profitability.
- Collaborate with Field Sales Engineers (FSE) and vendors.
- Support development of direct reports and divisional business development execs (BDE's).
- Possess full knowledge of assigned product/service line.
- Engage with key customers and vendor operational, sales, and marketing teams.
- People management and development in smaller markets, including additional responsibilities like category management.

**Experience and knowledge**:

- Five or more years in the BDM role for vendors like IBM, Dell, Cisco, etc.
- Experience with recruitment and development of the reseller's community.
- Experience with design and execution of business development plans.
- Knowledge of IT trends such as Storage, Backup, and High availability.
- Deep understanding of IBM offerings and IBM Storage portfolio.
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of industry trends.
