**Position Summary**:The primary objective is to ensure Livent has the equipment, supplies and inventory needed to meet schedule and production requirements. High level responsibilities are to confirm, track, and eliminate barriers for on time material delivery. This position involves working across multiple functions internally and externally; locally and globally. You will be expected to facilitate communication between OEMs, suppliers, buyers, Project Managers, Engineers, Logistics, Shipping & Receiving, and Accounts Payable teams. You will be expected to work with suppliers to understand the status of supplies and problem-solve to reduce the impact of late shipments all while ensuring quality standards and regulatory requirements are met.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Work with the capital project teams and operations to monitor status of equipment and supply deliveries, assess vendors, and ensure delivered materials meet quality standards
- Expedite materials & documentation on a daily basis from vendors based on project deliverables and operational needs.
- Track supplier milestones.
- Communicate with suppliers, including on-site visits as necessary, to determine expected delivery dates and inform Project Managers and operations leaders of potential delays.
- Research receipts & receiving documents to determine status of incoming shipments.
- Forecast & determines cause of delays and suggests possible corrections.
- Initiate action to remedy situations within scope of authority.
- Resolve receiving issues between project sites, forwarder & suppliers.
- Monitor project delivery timelines, check work quality against company requirements and specifications and ensure compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with Project Managers and operations leaders for updates on delivery timelines

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Procurement or a related field. Will consider 5 or more years of related experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 2 years related experience as an Expeditor or in related fields such as Inventory Management, Procurement, Logistics or Production Planning
- SAP experience preferred
- Fluent in English and Spanish
