**About the job Salesforce CPQ Developer**
Position Summary:
Under supervision of the Director, Revenue Operations and the Salesforce Lead Developer, the Salesforce CPQ Developer responsible for configuration of CPQ and CLM (Conga Contracts or Docusign CLM / Envelope) and providing ongoing business support for enhancements and business rule updates within the toolset. This includes, but is not limited to, product configuration, pricing rules/execution, approval workflow design, and document template administration. This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail along with experience in pricing or technology configuration/administration.
Primary Accountabilities: (List Essential Functions; 8-12 bullet pts or less)
- Build, create and execute on CPQ development needs (70%)
- Responsible for developing in Visualforce, Apex, Java (QCP), AJAX, and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions
- Experience with Sales Automation/Quote-to-Cash/CPQ (Configure/Price/Quote) systems/processes
- Deep understanding of CPQ capabilities both out of the box and customization opportunities
- Drive and own quality of the CPQ deployment by participating in Quality Assurance (QA), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-user training activities - assist in building test cases
- Translates business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage our CPQ platform
- Able to admin and develop CPQ with ability or interest to work on development of AI functionality using Salesforce Einstein Analytics.
- Ability to configure and build complex advanced approvals.
- Data Management and Reporting - Uses CRM and other resources to provide meaningful ad hoc reporting and analysis to sales, Executive leaders and others as needed (5%)
- Using multiple data sources, this associate will use their advanced Excel skillset to regularly develop complex reporting, trending and analysis
- Designs, implements and maintains sales dashboards for sales leaders and reps, calling out actionable insights for sales improvement
- Plays a role in the development and execution of sales integration plans for new acquisitions
- Performs acquisition data integration analysis, cleanup, and designs data migration strategy
- Proactively provides reporting as new initiatives arise
- Leads efforts to maintain system wide data cleanliness for accurate reporting
- Salesforce Generall Development (25%)
- Able to manage multiple user setups, profiles and roles in a complex fast paced sales organization
- Confidently handle the customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations
- Strong experience with complex databases and ability to clean up
- Ability to manage data with a high degree of data integrity
- Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to multitask and handle multiple projects.
- Must be highly skilled with Salesforce reporting functions and able to analyze and build custom reports
- Experience managing and analyzing data within a complex customer database a plus
- Quality oriented and desire to maintain high standards of accuracy and information integrity a must
- Able to create custom objects and use the Salesforce Developer tools to build advanced CRM functionality.

- Salesforce Developer I Certification Required
- CPQ Certification
- Developer II Preferred
- Salesforce Consultant preferred with demonstrated acumen
- 3-5+ years of Salesforce experience required and experience with CPQ and Billing
