Accounting Coordinator

As Accounting Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and providing guidance to the finance team. This position requires a high level of expertise in Netsuite, strong analytical skills, and exceptional attention to detail. This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts in Netsuite.
- Process and monitor accounts payable transactions accurately.
- Manage and oversee the preparation and submission of expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Act as a liaison between the finance department and various departments to facilitate the management of their expenses effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes, resolve complex accounting issues, and implement best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes in accounting standards and tax laws, ensuring the organization's financial practices remain in compliance.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles is required.
- Must be Bilingual (English - Spanish).
- Demonstrable experience working with NetSuite ERP software.
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
