**About Web Shop Manager & PartsLogic**

Web Shop Manager is a company dedicated to providing innovative solutions in the automotive parts industry. With a focus on E-Commerce, Search & Discovery, Fitment, and vehicle data to create powerful e-commerce experiences with efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. We aim to enhance the overall experience for both buyers and sellers.

The full-stack developer will join a small team that uses new technology to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering amazing experiences for global users.

**Objectives of this role**
- Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
- Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
- Assume leadership of new projects, from conceptualization to deployment
- Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities

**Responsibilities**
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
- Develop and maintain scalable and high-performing software solutions using the specified tech stack
- Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
- Ensure code quality through unit and functional testing
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth functionality
- Engage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with leading back-end engineers to create reliable software
- Collaborate across time zones via Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent videoconferences
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices

**Required skills and qualifications**
- Experience in the automotive industry and automotive parts standards such as ACES and PIES
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience working in a small team startup environment
- Experience working on or implementing e-commerce platforms or solutions
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud computing services
- Ability to write and maintain clear and concise technical documentation
- Experience in search technologies such as full-text lexical search and/or semantic vector-based search
- Strong understanding of Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with ML, ML embeddings, and generative AI
- Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Experience working with AWS Bedrock
- Experience in designing and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Knowledge of Ruby, Python, Javascript (Node.JS, React, Typescript, ES6, Cypress), Go, Rust, Elixir
- Experience processing large datasets and working with Big Data and Analytics.
- Experience working with data processing frameworks and services such as Apache Spark and Airflow
- Experience with databases such as, PostgresQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, influxDB, Milvus and Qdrant
- Experience with Messaging Queues such as RabbitMQ, AWS SQS and Kafka
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills
- Experience in unit/integration testing
- An octopus called Dave

**Preferred skills and qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, applied mathematics, or engineering
- Interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies
- Professional certification
