Backend Engineer

Overview:
Our client is looking for an outstanding backend engineer with a consistent track record of
delivering customer-centric user experience in high growth, especially in early-stage startup
environments. As part of the team, you will be playing a hands-on individual contributor
role in the core backend technologies, including but not limited to designing and implementing
participate in the design and architectural direction, understand requirements, and carry out
hands-on implementation of the most critical components and features. You will be working with the first Intelligent Revenue Management Platform built for the digital-selling and remote sales era.
As part of the team you will:
- Produce high quality, maintainable, and scalable software
- Diagnose issues on production systems proactively using various monitoring tools
- Build scalable API alongside Frontend engineers to build exciting products for our customers
- Work closely with DevOps team to provide insight into operational, security, and performance considerations
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization including customer success, product, and design teams
Key qualifications and skills to succeed in this role:
- Advanced English (spoken and written)
- Working experience with Flask, Django (or similar) frameworks
- Good knowledge of MongoDB or Postgres or MySQL, writing efficient queries, data modeling
- Experience with data profiling and code quality
- Ability to learn new technologies
- Experience with building data pipelines is a plus

- Well versed in best practices in the software engineering practices such as high quality code, thorough testing, and appropriate documentation
