**Role Summary**:
Your role as the Specialist Buyer for Instrumentation at the facility is to focus on and manage core site-based Procurement to Pay activities to meet operational objectives and provide outstanding service levels while achieving the lowest total cost of acquisition for direct material, indirect goods, services, and logistics.

This job is to work 100% in Flowserve facilities located in Godoy Cruz, Mendoza

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with suppliers and Flowserve personnel to purchase material as requested, in compliance with established procurement processes.
- Purchasings realted with instrumentation, motors, pumps and piping
- Managing Spot Buy RFQs under $100k net value and coordinating with Global for larger values and general sourcing support.
- Expediting & managing Open Purchase Orders
- Work with Customer Order Management and Planning to quote costs and deliveries for existing and newly purchased components relevant for the site.
- Work with Supplier Performance Group, Engineering, Manufacturing, and suppliers to fulfill quality, cost, and delivery needs.
- Manage the flow of documents, drawings, specifications, requirements with suppliers to receive material with correct quality and specifications.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce related expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Control spending and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Interface with Supply Chain organizations (local and global) to resolve issues concerning order placement for assigned commodities.
- Support the entire procurement team to implement Supply Strategies and standard work processes.
- Collaborate with Supplier Performance Group to intervene with suppliers on applicable quality and performance issues (e.g. QC/QA).
- Resolve all issues relating to invoice discrepancies from suppliers for seamless payment processing.
- Manage and maintain all data integrity related to Purchasing activities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering, or in Finance or International Trade
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector
- Fluent verbal and communication skills in English; with preference to one or more additional languages.
- Experience working with KPI´s
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Proven negotiation skills
- Strong data analysis experience
- Aptitude for making data-driven decisions and solving problems
- Open to occasional business travel
- Comfortable working in an environment of frequent change

**Preferred skills**:

- Solid experience in purchasing for instrumentation, piping, motor, centrifugal pumps
- Preferably in the Oil & Gas sector
