We are currently looking for a **Copy Editor** to work as part of a project, for one of the biggest IT companies in the world.

**What you´ll do?**

You will provide review of grammar, punctuation, word choice, technical terminology, and sentence structure (clarity, concision, brevity, and relevance).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review of new and updated training materials.
- Conduct editorial review of new or revised courses and supporting materials submitted to the Cloud Learning Services editorial team, including but not limited to labs, slide decks, video scripts, and supporting materials such as datasheets, quizzes, and other assessment materials.
- Proofread for writing, grammar, punctuation, and other typographical errors, making edits either directly or as comments/suggestions.
- Suggest line edits for clarity, intention, accessibility, and ease of localization.
- Participate in a term-mining project to identify terms that should be defined or that should have special formatting, such as capitalization or hyphenation.

**Necessary skills and experience required**:

- At least 5 years’ experience as a full-time editor
- Professional editing certification or demonstrate proficiency by passing an assessment.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to provide high levels of customer service with a strong integrity and confidentiality, using common sense, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail, and effective time management skills.
