**About Lumen**

**The Role**:
As a Lumen Accountant II, you will perform staff account duties for a multinational corporation. This includes but is not limited to, monthly close process, variance analysis, account reconciliation and financial reporting. Liaison with various internal business partners on problem resolution and process improvements. Ad hoc analysis and research as needed.

**The Main Responsibilities**:

- Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries
- Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis and other reporting
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and related correcting journal entries.
- Maintain internal control integrity and related SOX documentation and compliance
- Document all procedures
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant job experience with similar essential duties
- CPA Preferred
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment with high expectations
- Experience using SAP and Hyperion Essbase or equivalent systems is strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills are required
- Strong communication skills; ability to customize approach to a variety of internal customers
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time with a sense of urgency and a strong work ethic and under tight deadlines
- Strong accounting, analytical and research skills
- Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities
- Ability to prioritize with good time management skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced, demanding and dynamic environment
