Cost Accounting Analyst-1

The primarily purpose of this position is to perform multiple financial, analytical and control tasks to support Southern Cone accounting processes.

- Previous experience in a supply finance role preferred.

- University Degree/ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

**What will be your key responsibilities?**:

- Responsible for the full scope of period close submission activities for Mercedes Plant, including first step analysis of results and all data governance and interfaces from ERP/SAP to BI system upload.
- Responsible for generating and sharing insights that drive efficiency, continuous improvement and operational excellence in the Supply organization.
- Accurate support to the Supply Finance area on the understanding of local COGS, providing in depth explanations of variances, costs allocations and accruals.
- Managing and controlling any systems, processes or tools required to provide this information.
- Calculation and submissions of Intercompany Pricing (ICPs): Calculate and load of transfer prices on TPP (Transfer Price Portal).
- Performs Product Costings for the Plant, including master data interfaces from ERP/SAP to BI system.
- Perform system reconciliations between Financial BI (Helios) and SAP.
- Drive conformance to internal controls and governance policies at the site.
