Our project is a cloud-based post-production solution that can be deployed and scaled on demand and provides a full SaaS-based virtual post-production environment in the cloud—complete with cloud-optimized Media Composer software and Avid NEXIS storage.

**Requirements**:
**REQUIRED**

3+ years of experience in QA, Automation
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
Experience with Java
Experience with Junit

HTTP, REST

Experience with bugtracking systems
Experience with bash scripting
Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery tools (GitLab/GitHub)
Experience with performance testing and tools
Good communication skills - work with a global distributed team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive and innovative

**PREFERED (is a plus)**
Familiarity with Cloud technologies and providers (Azure or AWS) will be a big plus
Experience with SQL
Gatling (scala)
Experience with Unix based systems (CentOS, MacOs is a plus)
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with gradle build tool
Understanding of a SDLC and Agile principles
Understanding of Oauth2/OIDC protocols

**Responsibilities**:
Requirements analysis and proactive communications with development and team
Maintaining and contributing to Test Framework
Maintaining and contributing to the CI QA framework
Active participation in design, implementation, and execution of functional, integration, and performance test cases, test results analysis, tracking test coverage and performance trends

We are looking for a talented Test Engineer to join Avid’s Platform Engineering Team. You will be supporting the cloud and on-premise testing, testing Platform infrastructure and core services, and supporting of the Avid Platform as part of the Avid Everywhere strategy.
