MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
Decoration & Tubes buyer responsible for Labels and Tubes negotiations, portfolio management and strategy development for Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Chile. This professional must be capable to support all business groups projects and products across the region with focus on Personal Care, Beauty & Wellbeing, Nutrition and Home Care.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Negotiate SOLA packaging portfolio for Decoration & Tubes - Annual Spend ~EUR 20M
- Be able to lead and effectively interact with a regional team across Latam within a global structure and suppliers
- Lead Resilience, Sustainability and F4G savings agenda
- Explore competitors and market technologies, trends, and opportunities
- Facilitate BG stakeholder interaction while deploying portfolio strategy
- Identify areas of opportunities for Value generation projects
- Build market knowledge on trends, market capabilities, strategy shifts, geo-political influences to provide market insight to internal stakeholders and support strategic decision (bringing the outside in)
- Participate to the global products technology/format capacity allocation to deliver sustainable growth for the BG.
- Prepare negotiation strategy and manage commercial relationship with both local and global suppliers
- Deliver on key financial targets by ZBB & Product Logic initiatives
- Scouting for new suppliers that are fit for purpose and in line with Procurement portfolio strategies
- Lead Sustainability portfolio agenda (special focus on ABL/ PBL tubes transition in Brazil)
- Coordinate and communicate Price Cycle impacts with all BG and global team. Bear in mind LATAM region has to deal with VUCA countries and complex economic restrictions.
- Provide timely, accurate and actionable insights to drive decision making

KEY SKILLS
- Deep dive analytics, great understanding of continuous improvement plans, market scouting and supplier selection capabilities, as well as E2E SC understanding
- Solid market understanding, as well as relevant experience in working in collaboration with other Supply Chain and technical teams
- Presentation skills is essential
- Strong understanding of different supply chains including Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers
- Good communication skills to convey complex market dynamics in simple language to internal stakeholders in this new Compass Organization
- Solutions oriented, results driven and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

TECHNINCAL & BEHAVIOR SKILLS EXPECTED
- Proven experience in Procurement or Supply Chain with a portfolio experience being a plus
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Self-starter mentality
- Strong analytical capabilities (incl. finance)
- Experience and understanding of business processes such as Aravo, SAP, Anaplan, PowerBI and other systems
- Ability to interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds
- Strong communications skills and ability to engage and influence others
- Fluent communication and verbal skills in English
- Strong ability in managing multiple stakeholders, projects and deadlines, with strong analytical & negotiation skills and “can do” mentality
- Appetite for change and eagerness to collaborating with stakeholders to drive change & improvements
