About the role - What will you do?
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our People operations team and support various human resources programs. If you have a passion for HR, and are looking to kickstart your career in the field, this is the place to be.
Your role as an HR Generalist at Protofire will be far from one-dimensional. You’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like onboarding, 360 feedback, reporting, administering employee benefits and leaves, offboarding, as well as participating in crafting HR processes. You will use our HRIS (BambooHR) and Talent management system (Engagedly) to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. And you’ll also act as the main point of contact for members’ queries on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the People operation function is running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.

**Your typical tasks will be**:

- Being in charge of onboarding and offboarding of team members (paperwork, meetings, onboarding plans, onboarding / exit surveys, etc.)
- Launch, communicate, and analyze results of regular 360 feedback process. Be main contact point on any issues related to the process.
- Manage accuracy in internal HR systems (BambooHR, Engagedly).
- Support members in various requests (time-off, benefits, special needs, questions or requests).
- Organize and manage announcements, gifts and deliveries for members.
- Collaborate in the organization of online and onsite events, team-building initiatives, along with internal and external training programs.
- Partner with the People operations team on creating and/or maintaining templates, documents, policies, processes and reports.
- Actively participate in any other HR-related activities, suggest new or improvements to the existing HR processes, methods and best practices.
- And make sure our environment is the best possible workplace for our team members.

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience as HR Generalist in an IT company.
- Solid understanding of the full range of HR processes and desire to develop yourself in it
- Experience in HR admin tasks in LATAM (knowledge of labor law, taxes, benefits administration, payment peculiarities, etc.)
- Experience working in a distributed team, building and nurturing a remote culture.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive and open-minded style of communication
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to feel comfortable in a constantly changing environment
- Ability to work in the team and independently
- Advanced English level
