- Reviews documents for content, grammar, and spelling as well as for AMA style, client style, and consistency within the piece and among related pieces within a campaign
- Proofreads layouts; ensures the quality of format and visual quality of pieces
- Completes data entry
- Researches information on websites and compiles reports
- Files electronic documents, correspondence, reports, and other materials. Maintains files in an orderly manner
- Assists with maintaining Editorial calendar
- Establishes solid working relationships with all internal teams
- Accurately tracks time spent on each job and enters in time-tracking system on a daily basis

Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, or related field, OR
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of copy editing, proofreading, data entry, or executive assistant/administrative assistant experience
- Preferred:_
- 1-3 years of copy editing, proofreading, data entry, or executive assistant/administrative assistant experience

**Skills**
- Required:_
- Proficient in basic English grammar and spelling rules
- Knowledge of all proofing and editing symbols
- Quick and accurate typing skills
- High level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (ie, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- Experience with Adobe programs is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and prioritize tasks
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with internal team members
- Preferred:_
- 5-7 years’ experience in Medical Communications or related field
- Master’s degree in a related field and/or related certification
