We are seeking a highly skilled **Functional Analyst** to join our team and help us build the future of retail through our web-distributed, real-time infrastructure.
We need someone to empower our Tech team with all the data generated by our devices and to build a powerful and reliable enterprise platform to serve millions of transactions in Latin America and the US
**Your day-to-day activities**:
- Write functional specs about all tasks for the development team.
- Answer questions from customer-facing teams about platform functionality.
- Maintain constant communication with the Product Design Team to make sure all functionalities are aligned with the platform´s overall criteria.
**Which challenges will you find in this position?**
- Be part of the squad by analyzing product functionalities through experiments and hypothesis validation
- Notice problems, needs and improvement opportunities and design specific actions.
- Design the user flow within the specific product section in collaboration with the UX team.
- Define and analyze metrics that inform on product health and performance.
- Assist in the building, management and prioritization of the product backlog, making sure all items are clearly written, estimated and prioritized.
- Define the scope, use cases and acceptance criteria.
- Make sure all solutions created are user-centered and consider pain points.
- Head meetings, obtain deals, do the follow-up and make stakeholders visible.
- Monitor product evolution together with other teams.
- Build business cases, assess their feasibility and define budget curves and KPIs to monitor in order to ensure their compliance.
- Identify opportunities in the industry, sharing with the team market trends, avant-garde solutions and successful cases applicable to the business evolution.
**What are we looking for?**
- 3 years’ experience in positions such as Functional Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Owner or similar.
- Enthusiasm about understanding and analyzing complex problems.
- Eagerness to solve problems by seeing the big picture and connecting the dots.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Solid experience working with multidisciplinary teams (Product-UX-IT)
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Knowledge of documentation for IT teams. E.g.: Confluence, Jira
- Experience in Data Analytics, Amplitude, PowerBI or tools related to data mining and analysis.
- Fluid English
