Instructional Designer

As an Instructional Designer, you’ll work closely with Program Managers and Subject Matter Experts to design and produce both instructor-led and on-demand learning experiences that help our Sales Representatives prepare for customer conversations. In this role, you’ll rely on effective instructional design, learning development principles and authoring tools, learning technologies, and your ability to translate technical content into effective learning solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with the BE team to identify and assess training needs, develop learning objectives, and design effective learning experiences.
- Distil complex concepts and procedures into clear, engaging communication.
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and other Instructional Designers to gain alignment on content direction and ensure accurate content.
- Create and maintain learning assets for on-demand content, including video scripts, narration/voice over tracks, storyboards, assessments, and course maps.
- Create and maintain learning assets for instructor-led content, including facilitator slides, facilitator notes, classroom activities, and assessments.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- BA/BS degree in Instructional Design or a related field (Technical Writing, Educational Psychology, Communication Studies, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience designing, developing, and evaluating instructor-led and on-demand training content.
- Experience of working with e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems.
- Excellent writing and editing ability.
- Fundamental graphic design skills.
- Strong communication skills.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and clearly.
- Hands-on experience with the Evolve authoring tool and Intellum LMS.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, and Audition).
- Experience with video production/editing and recording/editing voice-over audio.
