**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) is a leading global financial services firm with assets of $2.6 trillion and operations worldwide. - The Legal Department of JPMorgan Chase & Co (“JPMC”) is responsible for providing legal services to the Corporation and is organized by practice groups that generally conform to the Corporation's lines of business (“LOBs”) and corporate staff areas, allowing the legal staff to work closely with specific groups on a daily basis._
- With client assets under supervision of $3 trillion and assets under management of $2.2 trillion, J.P. Morgan Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) is one of the largest asset and wealth managers in the world. AWM serves four distinct client groups globally through three businesses: institutional and retail clients through Asset Management (AM), and high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients through Wealth Management (WM), which includes the Private Bank and J.P. Morgan Securities. AWM offers global investment management in equities, fixed income, real estate, hedge funds, private equity and liquidity. AWM also provides trust and estate, banking, and brokerage services to high net worth clients, and retirement services for corporations and individuals._
- Job Responsibilities:_
- _Provide analysis and support to the J.P. Morgan U.S. Wealth Management’s bank investment adviser as well as the SEC-registered investment advisory businesses._
- _Assist in drafting and reviewing agreements and disclosure documents (e.g., Form ADV) across various businesses._
- _Review and consolidate disclosure relating to marketing materials and performance reports._
- _Review and discuss client comments and customization requests to client agreements (e.g., Mandates)._
- _Assist with the creation of “golden source” disclosures and conflicts._
- _Partner with senior lawyers supporting the different distribution channels (e.g., U.S. Private Bank, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Chase Wealth Management)._
- _Support the business on regulatory developments, new product development and launches. Work closely with other members of the Legal Department and other control functions (e.g., Compliance, Risk)._
- Required Skills:_
- _3+ years of experience as a qualified attorney, ideally gained within a leading law firm or law department of a financial institution (preferably including a private client or asset management group)._
- _Experience drafting complex legal documents in English (e.g. contracts, memos, public filings)._
- _A team player who can collaborate and communicate effectively with attorneys and other business and compliance professionals._
- _Familiarity with U.S. securities laws/legal basis for disclosure requirements desired._
