**_ Major Job Responsibilities:_**
- Assist with overseeing day-to-day activities of the breeding program.
- Coordinate nursery bagging and pollination with the breeders on nursery fields and greenhouses on summer and winter sites.
- Coordinate research activities to Research Technicians.
- Supporting efforts to maintain integrity of seed packaging, field layout, planting, data collection, and harvesting.
- Coordinate temporary and part time employees training on main research activities including protocols and procedures
- Assist with agronomic data collection in both nursery and field trials.
- Ensure data is collected accurately and uploaded to databases in a timely manner
- Oversee inventory and maintenance of seed stocks
- Oversee safety and ensure protocols are being properly followed.
- Help with organizing and conducting field experiments.
- Use of MS Office programs, especially Excel.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, customer service and professionalism that promotes a positive image of the company and the research department.

This position requires approximately 30% travel to company locations and may include other domestic and international travel. You must have a valid ARG. driver's license and be insurable by the company.

**_Education & Experience:_**
- Bachelor’s Degree in plant sciences, agriculture or related field, or equivalent with 4 years’ experience working in a commercial breeding program.
- Research - A basic understanding of plant genetics and breeding is desirable
- Quality - Attention to Detail
- General Math Skills - Including statistical analysis and interpretation
- Computer knowledge - Good level of computer competency: tablets, PC’s, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word) etc.
- Teamwork - Ability to lead and manage people effectively
- Multicultural Approach - Ability to work in a corporation with global network (global company)
