**The Work You’ll Do**:
Everything is based in the Cloud nowadays. But everything quickly becomes nothing without successful systems on the back-end. Here at Sovos, we have millions of data transactions running through our systems every day. Without our robust, agile Cloud Operations, we would not be able to deliver our SaaS products - and would not be able to Solve Tax for Good. This is where you come in.
As part of Sovos Cloud Operation/engineering organization, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance and scalability of Sovos Saas offering. You will have many opportunities to bring tremendous impact to our Cloud Infrastructure Saas products and customer experience while constantly learning new things.
More specifically you will:
- Designing, building deploying and maintenance of enterprise cloud solutions/ Kubernetes by implementing CI/AD pipeline to enable fast, but safe delivery of critical business software to Production.
- Stacks using a combination of scripting languages and other automation toolkits.
- Create, Assist, and Implement design and maintenance by automating web service infrastructure, Kubernetes and deployments.
- Expert on Building Monitoring framework using latest tools (e.g App Dynamic, Nagios, Splunk or similar tools) and technologies for better reliability and observability.
- Identify processes and capabilities that can be streamlined and automated.
- Define and implement processes to maintain software products’ configuration and infrastructure servers’ configuration.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, Product Owner, Operations, and other cross functional teams to successfully achieve team’s’ objectives.
**What we are looking for from **you**:
- Strong organizational skills along with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in the Infrastructure area.
- Infrastructure Automation experience.
- Upper-Intermediate to Lower Advanced level of English.
- Terraform knowledge and/or experience.
- SQL knowledge and experience is a plus.
- Splunk, Puppet, and Artifactory knowledge is a plus.
