**Key Responsibilities & Tasks**:

- Provide cloud escalation support for a wide range of product or systems related service requests
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues, working towards the resolution at within a timely manner or work with your manager or team lead to reassign to the appropriate resource or group
- Maintain good relationships with customers, liaising with customers during the incident process to ensure that they are kept informed of progress as needed
- May reproduce technical issues that customers report in a test environment in order to troubleshoot & resolve or further escalate to Sustaining Engineering
- Ensure successful transition from sales to delivery through go-live and into day-to-day operations
- Participate in regular account reviews and road-mapping/planning sessions with our top customers as needed
- Develop and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to an environment that is geared to innovation, high productivity, high quality and customer service
- Carry out other duties as reasonably requested by your line manager

Skills Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or computer related field
- 4+ years related experience of a best-in-class cloud or hosting organization
- Have a broad, strong technical knowledge including deployment, database, Linux OS, network, load-balancing / clustering and security
- Proven track record of operational success in a high traffic environment
- Ability to take ownership of issues and drive them to completion
- Ability to succeed through collaboration and working through other internal and external organizations and individuals
- Ability to learn quickly and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude
- Customer Focus - the ability to empathize with customers to deliver phenomenal customer service
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player - able to work as part of multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2-4 years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
