**The Role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Extend existing software to support future visions of the current products.
- Work closely with the product team to translate high-level requirements into detailed user flows.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure backlog contain the necessary detail to ensure efficient prioritization, coding, testing, and client validation.
- Be an expert at identifying and acting against complex and distant potential road blockers, holding team members accountable for identifying and addressing individual road blockers to personal progress.
- Consistently demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and proficiency, sharing this with others in the team to improve performance.
- Lead and attend Backlog grooming and Lead Sprint Review sessions.
- Ability and strong willingness to ramp up on new technology.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Previous experience with device-to-device communication protocols.
- Strong proficiency with C++ is required (i.e. C++11 standard).
- Strong background in Linux, preferably Embedded Linux, and products utilizing open source.
- Experience developing software for embedded devices.
- Solid software development fundamentals such as unit testing, build automation, branched based development, and modern documentation practices.
- Previous experience with QT Quick and QML is a plus.
- Excellent command of written, read and spoken English
