Verification as a Service (VaaS), the team behind Salesforce Authenticator needs you to help us build the world's best, most adored strong authentication product We currently handle millions of multi-factor authentication challenges per month, and we are ramping up to handle a hundreds of millions per month the next year. We're looking for an iOS developer who can help us grow to millions of users.

Behind the curtains, the backend is a Python API built in Django and hosted on Heroku. We have mobile apps for iOS (Objective-C/Swift) and Android (Java).

**Responsibilities**:

- Help design, develop, and maintain the world's best MFA app on iOS
- Develop with a focus on app performance and maintaining responsive UI
- Work with backend API developers
- Collaborate with product management, technical writers, and user experience designers
- Assist users with major issues
- Handle individual project priorities, deadlines and work you're doing
- Contribute to software quality, performance, and resilience through code reviews, test-driven development, continuous integration, and documentation

**Required skills**:

- Strong grasp of Swift and Interface Builder
- Demonstrable experience with real-world iOS projects for the App Store or Enterprise distribution
- Knowledge of professional software engineering standard methodologies for the software development process, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous integration, build processes, testing, and operations
- Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through launch
- An eagerness to learn new things and to help others do the same
- 2+ years professional experience with Mobile development in iOS with Swift and Objective-C

**Desired skills**:

- Experience shipping libraries targeted for use in the Apple Ecosystem
- Experience developing for Apple Watch
- Experience with Python — Django is a plus
- Experience developing a web app
- Knowledge of web services (REST, RPC)
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Comfortable with bash, *nix command line, and basic systems administration
- A focus on usable security, including knowledge of how to use encryption tools
- Experience with XCTest including asynchronous expectations.
