**JOB DESCRIPTION** PROXY VOTING SERVICES FUNCTION**

The Proxy Voting Services team is in charge of capturing, processing and reconciling all the instructions submitted by the clients in order to participate in the upcoming meetings where they are eligible to vote.

**Key Operational Areas**:
The team is responsible of:

- Oversight of the action performed by our vendor Broadridge.
- Capture the votes from our clients and notify them when there are requirements involved.
- Monitor the events, to prevent an overvote situation, and the rejections of the votes.
- Release instructions to the market.

**Key Stakeholders**:
The Proxy Voting services team provides services to most of the LOBs through their MO teams around the world. For the Prime Business, there is a specific Asset Servicing MO (sitting in the US and also in the UK) to whom we interact in a daily basis.

The team supports the events being processed globally (WHEM, LATAM, EMEA and APAC)

**Securities process interaction**:The Proxy Voting Services team works closely with different teams from Middle Office from different countries, Corporate Actions, PB Announcement Capture and with the external vendor Broadridge.
