In Vates you will participate in different projects made up of multicultural teams distributed in different parts of the world. We are looking for proactive leaders, oriented to teamwork, passionate about programming and who seek to provide the best experience to the end user.

**Responsibilities of this role include**:

- Architect robust solutions, considering scalability, security, and performance.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and product managers, to define project requirements and specifications.
- Must be able to work independently and in an agile development project.
- Develop and maintain server-side logic using PHP and client-side scripting using JavaScript & Bootstrap framework.
- Design, implement, and optimize database schemas using MariaDB on Azure (T-SQL).

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Senior PHP/JS Developer with expertise in MySQL (T-SQL).
- In-depth knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter or any other top PHP frameworks.
- Proficient in MySQL/MariaDB (T-SQL) database design, optimization, and management.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with a track record of guiding development teams.
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Fluent English
