The Opportunity
This job gives you the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art architectures
at many abstraction levels, from high level system modeling (using high level languages such as Python, Matlab or C++) to digital implementation (using HDLs such as Verilog or SystemVerilog) and even physical aspects of the implementation, broadening the understanding of the design to further optimize it.
You will work alongside very talented people who will give you support through the learning period, in a friendly work environment.
It is not mandatory to have experience in forward error correcting schemes: talent and drive matter far more. We value curious, self-motivated, eager to learn and team working people.
Job Responsibilities:
- Optical communication oriented FEC algorithms design and validation
- Design and verification of digital implementation architectures
- Software development for simulation of communications systems
**Requirements**:
- Engineering degree in electronics, computer software, or telecommunications
- Proven experience in C, C++, Verilog, SystemVerilog, and Python programming
- Good written and oral communication skills
Preferred but not required:
- Prior experience in advanced digital architectures design and testing
- Excellent English communication skills
