Blue Collar Scholars is the fastest growing Landscaping/Hardscaping Company in the

DMV.

Operating out of Bethesda, we consistently double our revenue year after year.

As our Senior SEO Strategist, your primary focus will be executing and following through with content strategy tasks for clients and onboarding new clients.

Your role will involve deeply understanding our clients' unique objectives to craft sophisticated SEO strategies that enhance their success in the digital landscape. You must identify SEO opportunities, strategize new content and analyze the old to garner the results our clients need. This involves advanced keyword research, understanding of UX and SEO copywriting (what makes something rank?), and the ability to evaluate existing pages to find opportunities for improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute natural link building strategies to enhance website authority and visibility.
- Create engaging and informative blog content that aligns with target audience interests and search intent.
- Implement strategic internal linking to guide users through the sales funnel while enhancing user experience.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize on-page content, header tags, and meta descriptions for improved organic rankings.
- Perform regular audits to identify and fix broken links, ensuring seamless navigation and site credibility.
- Utilize geographic targeting and conversion optimization techniques to maximize local search visibility and drive conversions.
- Monitor SEO performance metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes to adapt strategies accordingly.

**Additional Responsibilities**: 9. Research and develop specialist blog topics aligned with client objectives and SEO goals.
- Write high-quality, SEO-friendly blog posts that educate, inform, and engage target audiences.
- Collaborate with design and multimedia teams to enhance blog content with visuals, infographics, and videos.
- Optimize blog content for social sharing and virality, maximizing backlink acquisition and reach.
- Track and analyze blog performance metrics, adjusting content strategies based on audience feedback and data insights.

**Required Experience and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a focus on natural link optimization and content creation.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs (desired).
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.

We offer a competitive earning potential, bolstered by generous sales commissions ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 annually.
