Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide support to operators with the following tasks:

- Monitor performance and capacity of network systems using a variety of tools.
- Look for hardware, software and environmental alerts or malfunctions.
- Work to determine the cause of the problem.
- Works to troubleshoot the problem.
- Perform standard operating procedures that the closely follow.
- Coordinating with third-party vendors, customer contacts or other teams.
- Verify the correct execution of the following tasks done by the operators:

- Track and document all issues and resolutions in detail, this increases the knowledge base of the NOC and is a record of the health of the system.
- Escalate the issue to management, other team resource or third-party vendors for assistance in reaching a resolution when problems are complex for troubleshooting.
- Maintain ongoing communication within the team and externally, to keep all the parts involve aware of relevant, known issues and the steps being taken.
- Manage access requests to the different sites where the equipment’s from the network are located.
- Monitor and notify of all maintenance activities carried out inside and outside that affect the service offered to customers.
- Carry out the engineering technical dispatch when is required from customer or when is necessary for the network.
- SLA/SLO Performance Management
- Coach a team of Engineers and Technicians responsible for maintaining a 100% uptime for Network Centre infrastructure.
- Ensure service target margins are achieved, contributing to Services level agreed, deliverables are met, and Services meet customers’ expectations for quality and service.
- Minimum of Intermediate English language fluency (written and oral)
- Desirable basic fluency of the Portuguese language (written and oral)
- Previous experience in a NOC or have knowledge of telecommunications networks
- Understand Organizational Climate, Culture and Underlying Issues to achieve required goals/targets
- Outstanding planning, scheduling, and coordination skills
- A team player that will work well in a cross functional team environment
