**Overview**:
As a National Sales Manager you will be responsible for setting sales strategies in alignment with the Global and Local Strategic Directions, leading a team of middle managers, and driving revenue growth for the company. You will be a reference for the values and organizational culture. This role requires a strong understanding of the automation industry. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the future success of our organization.

**_Role + Responsibilities: _**

**_Sales Strategy Development: _**Develop and guide the implementation of comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives, including identifying market opportunities, setting sales targets, and creating action plans aligned with the organizational development defined in the overall strategy.

**_Team Leadership: _**Provide strong leadership and guidance to the sales managers, including coaching, performance management and professional development. Delegate efficiently and achieve alignment of the entire sales team with each other and with the rest of the areas, through the evaluation and continuous improvement of the sales process. Foster a culture of high performance, trust, collaboration, and accountability. Ensure you have a sales structure aligned with organizational objectives and its culture.

**_Client Relationship Management _**: Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients and stakeholders, including understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and achieve customer satisfaction while ensuring profitability for the business.

**_Market Analysis: _**Lead the market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. Utilize insights to adjust sales strategies and tactics accordingly.

**_Sales Forecasting and Reporting: _**Develop accurate sales forecasts and reports to track progress against targets. Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.

**_Collaborate and align _**cross-functionally with corporate areas and with other departments such as marketing, controlling, HR, Projects, and Operations to implement and support the overall strategy.

**_Budget Management: _**Manage and plan the sales budgets effectively, including allocating resources efficiently and controlling expenses to maximize profitability.

**Qualification + Profile**:

- You successfully graduated from a university or college postgraduate degree in engineering, business, or a related field and have a proven track record of +8 years in Sales Management and Business Development in the automation industry within 7 core business served by Endress+Hauser (Chemicals, Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Water & Wastewater, Power & Energy, Primaries & Metal).
- You are a strategic and analytical thinker, adept at foreseeing challenges and contributing to continuous improvements, ensuring proactive measures are taken to enhance processes and drive long-term success.
- You are an influential leader, experienced in building high-performing teams and developing others.
- You are familiar with managing complexity and making decisions based on the definition and monitoring of KPIs.
- Business and financial acumen are key to your success.
- Your strong communication skills, effective negotiation, and assertiveness set you apart
- Proficiency in English language
- Experience in Agile methodology is very valuable.
