Associate Software Engineer

**Position Overview**
This position is in charge of implementing the different SW products that DN offers to its various clients also is responsible to solve incidents in order to avoid, as far as possible, problems derived from SW and its interaction with the associated HW, as well as providing support for the resolution of problems presented in the different stages of implementation of SW products. Also if needed development of customizations for certain products.
**You are responsible for**
- Implementation of DN software as part or implementation projects
- Analysis of root causes and recommendations for SW troubleshooting. Provides technical support and troubleshooting for new and existing systems, making recommendations for their improvement.
- Implement updates and DN fixes, as well as make customizations for timely and correct integration into the customer environment.
- Contribute to the HWI for new SW products to ensure efficient operation by interacting with the HW into the customer environment.
- Participate in customer meetings to monitor the proper functioning of our SW products
- Follow up on SW troubleshooting even if it involves escalation to the next level of support.
- Codes basic components according to standard protocols and coding guideline
- Assists in the implementation, customization, and integration of more complex tasks under supervision of experienced SW Engineer.
- Participates in design discussions about features and approaches to implementing new services.
- Prepares and provides documentation for implementation and operation of own produced SW changes and programs, according to standard formats provided and supervisory guidelines.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience in Software development or IT area
- Software development skills, OOP approach (Any of: Java,.NET, C, C++, C#)
- Logical reasoning and technical thinking
- Ability to solve problems independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer service attitude
- Experience a support role managing end user products and services
- Quality Assurance knowledge
- Hardworking, self-motivated and passionate about learning and working with the latest technologies
- Inspired to think outside the box and work with your fellow team members to find solutions to problems
