The Opportunity

Marvell's PHY Business Unit is the industry leading provider of infrastructure solutions to enterprise, data center, service providers, small business, and digital home customers for up to 800-Gigabit Ethernet PHY products. The Software QA team is responsible for ensuring proper functionality of the embedded firmware in the device, for best customer experience. We take that responsibility seriously, believe in a continuous learning culture.

Job Responsibilities:

- The Software QA engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining a testing framework for the verification of APIs and firmware, covering low-level device configuration and control algorithms.
- Responsibilities include building and maintaining regressions benches, designing verification strategies, implementing automated test cases, developing tools for data collection, analysis and reporting.

**Requirements**:

- BS/MS in computer science, electronics engineering or related discipline
- Fluency in Python
- Basic knowledge of C/C++ programming language(s)
- Experience working with revision control systems such as Git, SVN or CVS.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate in spoken and written English with teams in other geographical locations.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, Ethernet switches & PHY devices.
