Cyber Security Specialist

We at Media Verse Group are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to join our team.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities, threats, and risks of intellectual property theft.
- Develop a cybersecurity strategy that addresses identified risks, aligns with industry best practices, and includes measures for protecting intellectual property.
- Regularly update the cybersecurity strategy based on evolving threats, business needs, and changes in intellectual property protection needs.
- Regularly monitor the internet for unauthorized use of the company's content on other websites.
- Understand and implement DMCA protocols for taking down unauthorized content.
- Coordinate with legal counsel or DMCA agents as necessary to enforce the company's intellectual property rights.
- Develop an engaging cybersecurity awareness program that covers key topics such as phishing, secure remote work practices, and data privacy.
- Regularly communicate about the latest threats and security best practices to employees.
- Assess the effectiveness of the cybersecurity training and adapt the program based on employee feedback and changing cybersecurity trends.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar cybersecurity role.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity risks, threats, and prevention methods.
- Knowledge of DMCA protocols and experience in intellectual property rights management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and inform non-technical staff about cybersecurity risks and preventive measures.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and standards related to cybersecurity and data protection.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively manage cybersecurity incidents.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar certifications are a plus.
