At AES, we are looking for a Senior Analyst, Global Headcount Planning

Role description:
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the workforce planning models in Adaptive Planning; maintains and reviews formulas, structures and identifies ways to improve it constantly; identifies inconsistencies and/or incomplete information and works with local HR and cost center managers to close gaps and resolve questions- Works directly with local HR business partners and cost center managers on assumptions definitions, approved headcount and gather details on changes and/or updates- Responsible for the local models, analyzing assumption changes and variance impacts (budget vs forecast, year over year, actuals vs budget/forecast and ad-hoc scenarios)- Responsible for analyzing and consolidating budget/forecast report packages of workforce and people cost; and for presenting them to HR, Finance and Senior Leadership teams- Coordinates local timelines with HR and Finance to ensure all parties meet required milestones in a timely manner- Partner with the Total Rewards COE Team for new position validation for budget purposes, and review structures for cost center allocation- Support to global workforce system (Adaptive Planning); reviews models and maintains updated database, standard reports and dashboards- Must be able to partner with SBU CFOs, local HR, and FP&A as collaboration is critical for success of the function

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, in finance, business, human resources, or related; Master’s Degree preferred- 5-7+ years of experience with planning; cost analysis and modeling skills; analyzing and interpreting data- Collaborative bridge builder to establish a variety of partnerships- Highly analytical and data driven with attention to details; strong expertise in managing a lot of data- Must have advanced (close to expert level) skill level with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)- Self-starter attitude; someone who can tackle an assignment by being resourceful, taking initiative, and managing through ambiguity positively- High level of maturity, include ability to maintain (and keep confidential) highly sensitive information
