Molecular Biologist

Their projects will have one of the following focuses:

- Design strategies and prototypes for molecular diagnostics based on next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Update themselves on the state of the art of the technologies that will be included in their projects.
- Understand and think about designs that allow the translation of existing knowledge for use within the framework of technology in the in vitro diagnostic industry.
- Routinely perform complex experiments and analysis of results.
- Develop and evaluate the performance of their prototypes with analytical metrics following standardized international protocols.
- Be able to derive creative solutions to solve technical challenges imposed by system limitations.
- Take responsibility for problem resolution and alternatives that allow the progress of the projects they work on.
- Generate permanent, unalterable, and self-informative records of the activities related to the projects they carry out.
- Provide accurate and reliable analytical results necessary for project tracking and decision making related to project progress.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams, including biochemists, chemists, software developers, and engineers, to develop and optimize IVD products.

**Qualifications**:

- PhD or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Demonstrated analytical ability based on the use of computer tools.

**Salary**: $1.00 - $2.00 per month
