We're seeking a dynamic Application Security Analyst to join our team. This role demands a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to security. You'll collaborate in the construction and maintenance of a software atlas, acting as a security guardian for our products. This involves not only documenting dependencies but also actively monitoring for updates and vulnerabilities to protect our systems from emerging threats.

Key responsibilities:

- Collaborate in the maintenance of a software atlas, by documenting libraries, components, dependencies, their versions, licenses, and associated risks.
- Perform regular dependency audits to identify outdated, vulnerable, or unlicensed components.
- Develop and implement processes for dependency review and approval.
- Research and evaluate new dependency management tools and technologies.
- Monitor for dependency updates and vulnerabilities, taking proactive measures to address issues.
- Conduct impact analysis to assess the potential consequences of removing or replacing dependencies.
- Create detailed diagrams illustrating how software components interact with each other, including data flow, control flow, and dependencies.
- Document the protocols used for communication between components (e.g., HTTP, TCP, UDP, gRPC).
- Collaborate with development and devops teams to improve security in the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.

About you:

- +3 years of experience as an Application Security Analyst or in a similar role.
- Deep understanding of binary software composition, including executables, dynamic libraries (DLLs), and static libraries (.lib).
- Familiarity with Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) and their impact on software security.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP, HTTP, TLS), cryptography (X.509, symmetric and asymmetric encryption), and authentication mechanisms.
- Strong documentation skills to record findings, procedures, and security assessments.
- Proficiency in English (reading and writing)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
