**The Role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Perform tests against existing and new products, including functional, systems, regression and performance tests, as applicable.
- Analyze test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
- Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
- Contribute to department initiatives, especially test automation
- Participate in customer facing events, as applicable.
- Where appropriate, support the development of team members from a professional, technical perspective.

**Requirements**:

- Recognized designation/post-secondary education in a related field such as computer programming, computer science or engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a development or testing role.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge; good understanding of.Net and XML; some knowledge of bug tracking tools and configuration management.
- Excellent technical and analytical skills; strong ability to learn and grow professionally; self-motivated, goal oriented, able to handle pressure and to meet deadlines; organized with keen attention to details; excellent communication skills; able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Willingness to learn, take on new responsibilities and develop a career at Wakapi
- Self-driven individual who is able to work well in a remote environment
