**Description**
The Offensive Security Engineer, a vital member of our Cybersecurity Red Team, is responsible for conducting rigorous penetration tests and security assessments. As an Offensive Security Engineer, you will identify vulnerabilities, craft simulated attack strategies, and seamlessly collaborate with other security units. Staying updated on cutting-edge hacking techniques and contributing to policy enhancement further strengthens our defenses, protecting the company from both external and internal threats.
**Responsibilities**
- Working with analysts, software engineers, and data scientists across the organization to continually improve cyber offensive resilience.
- Lead red team exercises against our cloud environment using threat intelligence, and the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
- Conduct research into real-world threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures to develop proof of concept and MVP tools.
- Investigate findings from our Bug Bounty program.
- Bypass preventative and detective security controls to accomplish scenario goals.
- Participate in advanced social engineering campaigns to raise employee awareness.
- Report observations using a standardized reporting structure.
**What are we looking for**
- 3+ years of experience in a penetration testing or similar offensive security role.
- Programming skills, (scripting, code review) using one or more high-level languages, such as Python, Golang, Rust, JavaScript, Bash.
- Strong analytical skills, able to leverage complex data to identify opportunities, recognize problems, and draw logical conclusions.
- Basic knowledge of network architecture, based on centralized network architectures on multi-account environments.
- Oral and written communication skills.
**Preferred**
- English B1 +.
- One or more penetration testing certifications (OSCP, OSWE, GPEN, GXPN, GWAPT, etc.).
- Experience in Bug Bounty recognition, CVE research and/or Capture the Flag competitions.1+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure Management with security focus.
- Understanding of the AWS Networking Services like: VPC, Route53, CloudFront, API Gateway, ALB.
