We're looking for a **QA Automation Engineer (Performance Testing)** to join the engineering team at Modus.

**About You**

**Experience Level: Senior**

**[In reference to requisition 1557]**

You have 5+ years of performance testing experience with Web and Mobile platforms.

You have extensive experience writing performance tests at multiple levels including UI and API.

You are a performance testing expert who builds frameworks and sets up environments from scratch.

You are proficient with JMeter and other performance testing tools like Blazemeter, etc.

You are proficient with Javascript, Java is also a plus.

You have experience setting up CI/CD pipelines.

You have experience automating tests for Web Applications using JS with Playwright, WebDriverIO, or Cypress.

You are able to identify gaps and provide solutions in automation processes, implementations, and best practices.

Experience with automated compatibility testing using tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs is a plus.

You have a security-first mindset, a strong testing mindset, and the ability to become an SME by putting yourself in the shoes of the end user.

You have hands on experience with Configuration Management (e.g. GitHub), Bug Tracking (e.g., Jira), Test Management (e.g., TestRail, Allure, ALM), Collaboration (e.g., Confluence, Slack, Sharepoint).
You have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as an analytical way of thinking.
Effective collaboration with the engineering team is essential.

You love learning and understand that software is an ever-evolving world. You enjoy playing with new tech and exploring areas that you might not have experience with yet. You are self-driven, self-learner willing to share knowledge and participate actively in your community.

Having overlap with your team is critical when working in a global remote team. Modus requires all team members to overlap with EST hours daily. In addition, reliable high speed internet is a must.
