As a Development Manager, you’ll be a key part of instilling the Avature culture of self-determination and constant improvement in your team and across the development area. Working in a dual-leadership model with a technical leader, you’ll be in charge of motivating team members to reach both their own professional goals and the team’s.
Your challenges and objectives
- Nurture Avaturian well-being and growth by motivating and guiding, setting clear expectations, promoting bonding, teamwork, and a healthy work environment.
- Understand and comply with company policies and excellence standards, and constantly work toward your team’s compliance.
- Collaborate with senior management and your team to define and carry out improvements to both the Avature team and product.
- Maintaining effective information flow within the team and with others, ensuring everyone has access to relevant information.
Your day-to-day activities
- Build alignment between team members and other teams.
- Support and develop team members by providing feedback, mentoring, coaching.
- Be involved in recruiting, helping the Talent Acquisition team find new Avaturians.
- Maintain an open dialogue with your team, encouraging them to share ideas, questions, and concerns.
- Be profoundly involved in new members’ onboarding process.
- Assess performance.
- Organize and coordinate day-to-day work in a clear manner to maximize efficiency.

- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Frustration tolerance and empathy.
- Experience managing teams.
- Experience in development, functional analysis or quality assurance.
- Fluent in English.
- Attentive, ready to solve unexpected issues, ability to prioritize.
