Sr Carrier Relations Consultant

**About Lumen**

**The Role**:
This position provides complex to very complex support in maintaining relationships with local and long distance carriers.

**The Main Responsibilities**:

- Manages problem resolution, tariff structuring and service pricing activities.
- Serves as a single point of contact with carriers to ensure interconnect contractual obligations are met.
- Analyzes and resolves carrier issues that arise during order and installation processes.
- Investigates and resolves issues to prevent breach of contract. Participates in carrier performance reviews.
- Ensures performance and delivery in accordance with regulatory agreements.
- Coordinates with sales to leverage buy/sell opportunities with interconnect carriers.
- Generates very complex reports, performs very complex account analysis, and makes recommendations to executives.

Required:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
- 6+ years of related experience

Preferred:

- Master’s degree
- 4+ years of experience
