**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Head of Music, BR & LATAM, this role plays a key part in the development and roll out of our Music strategy in LATAM; You will lead the Music programming for Deezer in the LATAM region, with a strong focus on localising releases, catalog, playlisting & product features for Deezer.

**This role can be based in Mexico, Colombia or Argentina.**

**What you will do**:

- Work within Deezer’s editorial guidelines to create and execute the editorial strategy for LATAM (mainly MX, CL, CO, AR) : local playlist pool set-up, daily local playlist curation, channel management, creation, programming & localisation, new releases in-app
- Liaising with cross functional teams such as marketing, PR, social media & B2B to drive the music strategy with those teams
- Program content across the Deezer product ensuring it is perfectly localized to your audience wide variety of high quality music content aimed at the local audience
- Development of original content series for Deezer & partners
- Hold responsibility for tracking KPIs and managing project plan and budget
- Assess and track the whole playlist pool optimizations and benchmarking to ensure coverage and great content offer to users

**Qualifications**:
This role is excellent for a person with:

- 5+ years experience in music journalism or music content creation, including experience in editorial decision-making
- The skill to recognise interesting angles and develop concepts and story ideas relating to popular music that will engage Deezer’s core audience.
- A deep understanding of global Hispanic/ LATAM music culture
- Expertise in writing, with excellence in music writing, copy-editing and headline writing in English and Spanish.
- Ability to handle multiple and complex projects simultaneously under stringent timeframes and changing priorities/conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to project manage creative campaigns across multiple platforms including Social Media, CRM, and PR ensure messaging and tone remains consistent.
