**PURCHASING ASSOCIATE**
The Purchasing Associate plays a vital role in supporting the procurement process of our organization. This position involves creating and processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, tracking orders, maintaining documentation, and providing general administrative support. By ensuring streamlined procurement operations, accurate record-keeping, and effective communication among stakeholders, this role contributes significantly to our overall success.
**Responsibilities**:
- Process and track purchase orders and invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with vendors to confirm order and invoices details and resolve any issues.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure precision.
- Maintain organized records and documentation of purchase orders and related information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement processes.
- Assist with inventory management and reconciliation of vendors' invoices.
- Identify opportunities for improving procurement efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
**Qualifications**:
- Associate degree or a related field of study preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in Accounting or a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in English with effective communication skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
- Proficient in advanced data entry and analysis using MS Excel.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; familiarity with procurement processes is a plus.
- **Work Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm EST.
