SAP Basis Administrator with Btp Cloud Foundry

**Key Responsibilities**:
**BTP Cloud Foundry Administration**:

- Configure Cloud Foundry environments to operate DataXstream software solutions for our customers
- Work with customer administration teams to configure SAML2 Single Sign On using SAP Principal Propagation
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources (memory, disk space, service instances) to maintain performance.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Cloud Foundry and customers’ on-premises environments.

**SAP Basis Administration**:

- Perform daily monitoring and administration of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, Solution Manager, etc.).
- Basis lifecycle management: upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Participate in system copies, client copies, system refreshes, and SAP transport management.
- Perform SAP user administration, role management, and security configuration.
- Conduct regular system health checks, database administration (HANA, etc.), and backup/restore operations.

**Collaboration & Support**:

- Work closely with internal cross-functional teams, including development, product specialist, delivery and infrastructure teams, to ensure smooth operation of customer and internal environments
- Provide technical support internal for SAP environments, resolving system issues and incidents promptly.
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist in planning and executing projects related to product and process improvments.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of SAP Basis experience with a strong background in SAP system administration and support.
- 2+ years of experience with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry administration, including deployments, scaling, and monitoring.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Comfortable working in regular and close collaboration with DataXstream’s customers through the entire lifecycle for DataXstream software solutions: gathering requirements, implementation and ongoing support.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex SAP and cloud-related issues.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and Git-based workflows
- Experience with SAP tools, including SAP Solution Manager, SAP Landscape Management, Cloud ALM, and third-party monitoring solutions.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and migrations.
- SAP certification in Basis administration or Cloud Platform preferred.
