The Junior Accountant reports directly to the Team Leader. This position is primarily responsible for recording journal entries and maintaining financial records for Air Liquide entities.
- Receive, review and post journal entries received
- Prepare monthly journal entries for LATAM entities and business units
- Prepare and post journal entries such as standard accruals and ad-hoc journal entries monthly
- Prepare and post recurring entries annually and update throughout the year as necessary
- Execute monthly program to book-and-reverse journal entries from the prior month
- Perform other financial accounting monthly close duties as assigned, including sending month-end reports to management
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
