**Stock team - Stockhands and Penriders**
**Operators - Feedmill, tractors, mixer wagons, loaders and other machinery**
**Leading Hand / Supervisor**
**Stock team** responsibilities and criteria include:
- Pen movements of cattle on horse or foot
- Ability to demonstrate contemporary animal husbandry techniques
- Animal awareness and continual improvement in animal welfare
- Diagnosis of animal health symptoms and/or issues
- Sorting & weighing of incoming & outgoing cattle
- General stock handling and record keeping
- Maintain compliance within company guidelines including, but not limited to: WH&S, Quality Assurance, Australian Animal Welfare Standards and Environmental Standards;
- Applicants should possess good cattle handling skills, be able to work in a team environment and be a competent horse rider.
**Feedlot Machinery Operator** responsibilities and criteria include:
- Operation of tractors, loaders, feed trucks, water trucks, bobcat and other machinery;
- Mixing and delivering feed to cattle
- Operation of grain processing equipment
- General stock handling and record keeping
- Maintain compliance within company guidelines including, but not limited to: WH&S, Quality Assurance, Australian Animal Welfare Standards and Environmental Standards.
**Supervisor/Leading hand** responsibilities and criteria include:
- Management / supervision of daily feedlot operations including daily stock activities, feeding and milling departments, contractors and maintenance teams
- Ability to utilise data tracking and analysis tools to track and manage livestock, plant and equipment
- Experience / knowledge with working and processing cattle within a feedlot environment
- Extensive animal husbandry knowledge and skills
- Experience in directing and overseeing a range of operational activities within both the Livestock and Operations functions of a feedlot
- Minimum 2 years' proven Management / Supervisory experience in a similar role
- Ability to work with others and enjoy working in a small proactive team
- Demonstrated commitment to maintain and manage compliance within company guidelines
- Professional and proactive approach
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Efficient and productive personnel management and assessment of staff
