The **AA South Region Sr Finance Analyst **provides financial and business support finance director, finance, and commercial areas, plays a key role in controlling and monitoring financial objectives, as well as in formulating reports and strategic analysis with business for top line growth and P&L maximization. This role partners with the Affiliate Management Team, Finance Area office and is exposed to international team through global projects related to finance transformation.

Additionally, is responsible for acting and monitoring internal controls, expenses, cost, commercial policy, and prepare business cases, in addition to ensure that the company’s financial reporting and general business practices are following company financial policies, official requirements, and generally accepted accounting principles.

**Geography**: Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay with a high complexity of high-devaluation and hyperinflation, cash flow, treasury, and local profitability analysis.

**CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work with the Affiliate Management Team, region South Finance Director and Centers of Excellence platforms to meet worldwide financial commitments by providing financial insights and recommendations that will lead to effective business decisions.
- Overall responsibility for submissions of Plan, Updates and LRP, as well as the finance governance for transfer pricing, cash flow, balance statement, and internal controls.
- Support Region South Finance Director and wider local leadership team to maximize affiliate P&L and implement strategic business decisions as a key participant across all business units. Ensure that the analytical and reporting requirements are met in a high quality and timely manner.
- Lead S&OP Affiliate Process in partnership with commercial, pricing, customer service, demand, supply, and regional SOP lead.
- Provide expert strategic decision partnering in Brand Teams, providing suggestions and challenging all brand and business projects related activities.
- Lead reporting activities for Sales, SG&A, Distribution Margin foremost through in-depth modelling of the sales trend indications, maintaining area and global templates.
- Ensure that financial controls are in place to provide for adequate protection of the LATAM Region South assets and for the accurate and timely reporting of financial results in compliance with company policies and regulated reporting requirements.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A degree in accounting, finance or economics is required (Master’s Degree or equivalent experience highly desirable); CPA or equivalent is preferred
- Previous experience as Sr Analyst, Consultant
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; broad exposure to all aspects of finance and business with emphasis on financial planning, analysis, internal controls, talent management and business partnering
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; Fluency in English is a must.
