Reservoir Geologist

**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to**:

- Generate well proposals and follow up geosteering and drilling operations. Generate seismic interpretations of surfaces and faults. Build geological maps and basic geological models. Develop full field development scenarios. Perform lookbacks together with drilling and petroleum engineers. Assess subsurface risks and propose mitigation alternatives.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Geologist
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as reservoir or operation geologist with an oil company.
- Fluid in Spanish and English
- Required knowledge: sequence stratigraphy, basic petrophysical evaluation, basic seismic interpretation, broad experience in well log correlation and mapping.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Earth Sciences
- 10 years or more of experience in the oil industry
- Experience in unconventional reservoirs, preferably shale oil/shale gas.
- Good communication skills and team work oriented, willing to grow inside our organization and coach less experienced colleagues.
